The Linn County Circuit Court is located at 300 SW Fourth Avenue in Albany. The courthouse was built in 1940 and serves the entire county. Five elected judges hear cases here. The records office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to noon and again from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Linn County Traffic Records Copy Fees

Getting copies of traffic ticket records in Linn County comes with fees that depend on the format you need. Paper copies cost $3 per case plus $0.25 for each page. Electronic copies are $3 per case. If you need a certified copy, the fee is $5 per document. An exemplified copy costs $10 per document.

Audio recordings from court hearings are also available. An audio file sent by email costs $10. If you want it on a CD, the fee is $11. Audio recordings come in FTR format. This format does not work with Apple devices, so plan ahead if you use a Mac or iPhone.

A felony or misdemeanor discovery request is $75. A violations discovery request is $25.

Albany Municipal Court Traffic Tickets

The Albany Municipal Court handles minor traffic tickets issued within city limits. The court is at 333 Broadalbin SW in Albany. You can reach it at 541-917-7740. Court sessions for minor traffic cases are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Minor traffic hearings start at 8:30 AM. Open court begins at 9:00 AM.
